Abstract: The continuous innovation of product design is one of the goals that designers have been pursuing. To achieve applicable innovation points in product design schemes, designers need not only better creative thinking, but also practical engineering knowledge as support. Based on the learning characteristics of design students, in order to help design students to establish the perspective of creative thinking expression and engineering realization, combined with the mechanism movement evolution form and expression mode in engineering knowledge, an engineering knowledge teaching method guided by creative design realization is proposed in this paper. In this method, product mechanism innovation is used to help product creative scheme design. Therefore, students can transform the thinking design innovation into product design innovation in the real sense and establish the engineering practice ability to realize the design scheme.
