A Preliminary Study on the Practice of Maker Education in Colleges and Universities under the Background of "Internet Plus"

Abstract: The changes brought about by "Internet plus" provide a favorable environment for maker education. Colleges and universities are important places for disseminating advanced ideas and innovative and creative ideas. Makers, who are mainly college students, have a strong creative thinking and practical ability. Based on the current status of maker education in some universities, the article discusses the significance of actively and orderly developing maker education, proposes to change concepts and awareness, cultivate innovation and creativity; build a platform space, promote the incubation and transformation of results; adjust the content structure, and improve the professional curriculum system; strengthen teacher training, innovate effective teaching models; cross-industry integration of resources, and actively create a maker atmosphere, etc., to promote the development of maker education in colleges and universities, and cultivate more innovative and creative talents.
