Methods and Countermeasures to the Improvement of Teaching Quality of Materials Discipline in Application Type Undergraduate

Abstract: With the development of industry economy and knowledge-based economy, requirement of high quality applied undergraduate talents is more and more. And the education quality especially the teaching quality in the universities is becoming more valued by people. Firstly, the main factors affecting the quality of university teaching were analyzed. Some opinions, such as, reform of teaching methods, construction of the new relationship between teachers and students and strengthen the student-oriented concept, were then put forward. The teaching results of some material courses show that, these measures have a huge role in developing the students’ autonomy and subjectivity. Thus, they can improve the teaching attraction and be the effective way to improve the teaching quality.
