Exploration and Practice of Subject Competition in the Training of Applied Talents in Civil Engineering——Take the Civil Engineering Major of Hexi University as an Example

Abstract

Abstract: Subject competition takes curriculum theory teaching, practical teaching and the application of new technology as the carrier, and cultivates and improves students' innovation ability, teamwork ability and practical ability by means of competition, so as to improve students' comprehensive professional ability. Taking the subject competition carried out by the school of civil engineering of Hexi University as an example, this paper introduces the guarantee measures and implementation ways to promote the subject competition, and expounds the goal of cultivating applied talents with certain professional comprehensive ability and engineering literacy through the organic integration of subject competition and curriculum teaching.
