Abstract: With the support of the Internet and information technology, China's cross-border e-commerce field has made great progress, and the demand for compound English talents who not only understand the operation mechanism of cross-border e-commerce, but also have the ability of network technology application, business communication and cross-cultural communication has reached an unprecedented level. Based on this, the article takes Internet plus background demand characteristics of cross-border electricity business English talents as the breakthrough point, and briefly analyzes the problems existing in the current cross-border electricity business English talent training mode, focusing on the establishment of modular curriculum, the construction of blended learning space, and the creation of VR virtual simulation laboratory. Four aspects of training platform are discussed, and the training mode of cross-border electricity business English talents based on Internet plus background is explored.
