Research on Incidental Acquisition of Second Language Vocabulary in College English Reading with APT Teaching Model

Abstract: With the continuous development of information teaching, more and more people pay attention to the use of information teaching means. In order to explore the influence of some information-based teaching methods on the incidental acquisition of foreign vocabulary, this paper conducts a research on the teaching mode of "implicit classification" in two classes. Research shows that the information-based APT teaching model has a certain influence on incidental acquisition of English vocabulary. Different ways of enhancing vocabulary acquisition and teaching design based on information have a great impact on incidental acquisition of English vocabulary, that is, the way of combining pre-class, in-class and after-class evaluation can effectively enhance students' incidental acquisition of second language vocabulary and improve their vocabulary.
