Application of Case Teaching Method in the Teaching of Professional Postgraduates

Abstract: : In this paper, in view of the lack of practical application ability of postgraduates and the breadth and depth of analyzing and solving practical problems, the innovative teaching method of introducing case teaching into classroom theory teaching is discussed according to the teaching requirements of postgraduates majoring in materials science and engineering. The course of "shape memory materials and applications" is taken as an example. The characteristics and advantages of case teaching method are introduced. The teaching process design of case teaching method is also put forward, which provides a new idea for the cultivation of practical application ability of professional master's degree postgraduates.
