Abstract: Fluid mechanics is a subject that study macroscopic balance and mechanical movement and adhibition in engineering practice, and mainly focus on the fluid particle’s force include principal theory, computational method and model test. As an important basic course for the major of Naval Architecture and Ocean Engineering, it requires students not only to master relevant knowledge points and theories, but also to learn ideological and political contents such as materialistic philosophy thought contained in fluid mechanics. Taking the course of Fluid Mechanics of Guangdong Ocean University as the research object, this paper firstly analyzes the necessity of integrating ideological and political courses with the specialized course of Fluid Mechanics, and then analyzes the philosophical thoughts in the course by combining the characteristics of the course. On this basis, the author refined the ideological and political materials, and finally put forward the design scheme of the integration of the two, in order to improve students' ideological consciousness and comprehensive quality while learning professional theoretical knowledge, and then achieve the purpose of promoting learning.
