Research and Practice of Undergraduate Innovative Thinking and Practical Ability Training Mode——Takes Clothing Design and Engineering as an Example

Abstract: In view of the traditional teaching and undergraduate training concepts, knowledge fragmentation, closed and backward teaching elements, as well as the training objectives and industry needs, students' innovation and practical ability and other problems, combined with the characteristics of the "combination of art and engineering" of the clothing design and engineering major, taking the professional compulsory course "garment commodity inspection" as an example, the mixed teaching mode is formulated based on the new demand trend of the garment industry, including project teaching, online and offline teaching mixing, network background monitoring learning data, classroom discussion and debate, multidisciplinary teaching team teaching, classroom practice, innovation and entrepreneurial training teaching methods. In order to better evaluate the mastery of knowledge points, innovative thinking and practical ability in the teaching process, a more detailed teaching evaluation indicators, evaluation methods and weight setting are made for the course, and then to better connect the new technology and new demand of the garment industry, maximize the practical ability, innovative thinking and comprehensive quality of undergraduates.
