The Current Situation of Innovation and Entrepreneurship Education in Medical Colleges and its Enlightenment to Education——Take Shanxi Medical University as an Example

Abstract: In order to fully understand the status quo of innovation and entrepreneurship education in local medical colleges, a sample survey was conducted from September to November in 2020 for different grades and majors in Shanxi Medical University. The results show that from the school level, the top-level design and overall development of the school are relatively good, and the participation of college students' innovation and entrepreneurship competition has achieved remarkable results. From the perspective of students, there is still a certain gap between the overall satisfaction of entrepreneurship and innovation education and the ideal satisfaction of the university. From the social perspective, the government provides policy support and enterprises provide funds and technology to support the development of innovation and entrepreneurship education in schools. This suggests that universities and colleges should play a leading role in cultivating innovative and entrepreneurial talents, strengthen the construction of the teaching staff and curriculum system of entrepreneurship and innovation education, especially promote the integrated development of entrepreneurship and innovation education and professional education.
