Promoting the Reform of Practical Teaching and the Cultivation of Innovation Ability in Colleges and Universities by Subject Competition

Abstract: With the implementation of the national innovation and development strategy and the goal of improving economic quality, efficiency and upgrading, China's demand for innovative talents is becoming more and more urgent. This demand makes the construction of computer specialty and personnel training face challenges and opportunities. In view of the problems existing in the innovative education of computer specialty, this paper puts forward a method of promoting the reform of practical teaching and cultivating the innovative ability of college students by subject competition from the perspective of practical teaching. We have established the innovative talent training system for students at different levels.We have carried out practical teaching in the Information Technology College of Luoyang Normal University. Practice has proved that this teaching method has achieved good results
