Teaching Design and Practice of Entrepreneurship Foundation Course for Engineering Majors

Abstract: In order to meet the strategic needs of the construction of new engineering and adapt to the development trend of new economy, Entrepreneurship Foundation course of engineering adheres to the teaching concept of "cultivating the entrepreneurial thinking of engineering college students, enhancing the motivation of independent learning, and establishing the feeling of serving the country with science and technology". Following the law of education and talent growth, the course adopts modular, project-based and participatory teaching. The course content focuses on team building, creativity generation, risk analysis, business model design and project roadshow, and mainly completes the two tasks of entrepreneurship team construction and entrepreneurship project cultivation. The curriculum organically integrates entrepreneurship education and professional education to realize the transformation of focusing on ability training, students and experience participation, convey the patriotic feelings of serving the country with science and technology to students, and help China's new engineering construction and talent training.
