Research on the Incubation Mechanism of Maker Space Projects in Applied Universities Based on the “Triple Helix” Theory

Abstract: As a kind of higher education type focusing on the application of technology, applied universities should focus on the development of regional economy, highlighting the characteristics of application and diversity. This article expands the classic "Triple Helix" theory to a certain extent, adds investment and financing institutions as the fourth helix, builds an applied universities maker space project incubation mechanism model, and proposes corresponding optimization strategies.
