A Study of Vocational College English Teaching on CLIL

Abstract: In the context of integration of production and teaching, the traditional public English teaching has been unable to meet the teaching needs. It is an active attempt to reform the public English teaching in higher vocational colleges to select teaching content based on the knowledge and ability requirements required by professional/industry jobs, reconstruct the teaching content system, reform the teaching mode, combine language with subject content (CLIL), focus on cultivating students' English application ability, and improve students' independent learning ability, cultural literacy and sustainable development ability.
