Abstract: Successful entrepreneurship must be based on innovation, and the source of innovation is innovative thinking. Therefore, cultivating college students' innovative and entrepreneurial thinking ability has become the urgent need of the development of the times. In order to realize the dream of mass entrepreneurship and innovation and building an innovative country, we must focus on cultivating innovative thinking of contemporary college students to promote social progress and development. In this paper, the author expounds the importance of cultivating innovative and entrepreneurial thinking of contemporary college students from four aspects: the present situation of cultivating innovative and entrepreneurial thinking of college students, the necessity of cultivating innovative and entrepreneurial thinking of contemporary college students.
