Abstract: Cultivating innovative talents is an important mission entrusted by The Times to colleges and universities as well as one of the most urgent tasks in the current double first-class construction. Standing at the new starting point of social development, colleges and universities have gradually exposed some defects in cultivating innovative talents. This paper analyzes the present situation of domestic colleges and universities, and puts forward some new ideas to promote the cultivation of innovative talents from reforming the educational idea, completing the curriculum system, changing the teaching methods, improving the evaluation and assessment system, building high-quality teachers and perfecting the education support system.
