Abstract: Under the impact of economic trade, cultural globalization and the increasing international status of China, the development of tourism industry is getting more and more prosperous. Therefore, the translation of English tourism texts needs urgent attention. Based on The Belt and Road initiative, this paper discusses the principles of language processing in the translation of English tourism texts, aiming to search for a translation approach that can adapt to the modern development of tourism industry and the needs of cultural differences and the concept of cultural penetration. From the perspective of loyalty, appropriateness, equivalence, coherence, aesthetics and compiling translation, the article explains the principles of language processing in the translation of English tourism texts in the view of The Belt and Road, so as to achieve effective translation and bring Chinese tourism and Chinese culture to a new height.
