Reform on Classroom Teaching for Innovative Talent Cultivation of Plant Protection Specialty under the Background of New Agricultural Science

Abstract: Taking the implementation of Excellent Agricultural and Forestry Talents Education Program as an opportunity, Shenyang Agricultural University promoted innovative talent cultivation of plant protection specialty under the background of New Agricultural Science. The efficient classroom is not only an important guarantee to improve teaching quality, but also the basis for the cultivation of innovative talents. In order to improve the quality of classroom teaching, we insist on the concept of student-centered, teachers’ effective teaching and students’ automomous learning. The reform was conducted from the aspects of establishing high-quality curriculum system, promoting teaching information, improving teaching means, implementing small class teaching and establishing diversified comprehensive formative assessment, the quality of classroom teaching was improved.
