Abstract: Practical undergraduate students need to strengthen their practice to be able to apply what they have learned. Undergraduates in related majors have objective needs for systematic practice and full-time teachers also need undergraduate teams to support scientific research. Based on the combination of the two requirements, the author proposes the teacher-student interaction model of "research, competition and training" for practical major. After three years of practice in the land resource management major of the author's working unit, it is found that students can gain honors and improve practical ability in this model, while teachers can improve the efficiency and quality of scientific research project implementation. The implementation of the mode not only requires full-time teachers to carry out scientific decomposition of scientific research projects, project team management and talent team inheritance and development, but also needs to pay attention to improving students' concentration and endogenous motivation. The exploration of this model can provide reference for the cultivation of practical undergraduate students.
