Abstract: As an important measure to realize the connotative development of higher education, the "Double Ten Thousand Plan" has brought opportunities and challenges to the construction of social work specialty. Local colleges and universities should actively consider the new requirements and challenges brought by the "Double Ten Thousand Plan", combine their own advantages and characteristics, seize the development opportunity and carry out professional construction. Based on the background of "Double Ten Thousand plan", taking the social work major of Jinan University as an example, this paper discusses the professional construction practice in terms of professional objectives, curriculum system, teaching resources and teaching quality monitoring, in order to cultivate high-quality social work professionals, meet the needs of economic and social development and realize the sustainable development of social work.
