Abstract: With the reform and development of China's education system, the teaching methods of many colleges and universities have also made changes in accordance with The Times. In recent years, flipped classroom teaching mode has entered many university campuses. Multimedia teaching is used to change the subjectivity of students and teachers from the original "teachers speak and students listen" to students' independent exploration and learning. In the traditional teaching mode, students learn knowledge in class and write homework after class, while in the flipped classroom teaching mode, students learn knowledge after class and discuss with teachers and classmates about what they have learned in class. Correcting mistakes has become the main responsibility of teachers. Its significance lies in cultivating students' ability to find and solve problems, which can effectively enhance students' enthusiasm for independent learning. To some extent, the traditional dance teaching mode is not conducive to promoting teacher-student interaction and reduces students' enthusiasm for learning dance. This paper mainly studies the application of flipped classroom teaching mode in actual dance teaching, analyzes the specific application mode of flipped classroom teaching based on existing cases of flipped classroom teaching, and promotes the further improvement and development of this teaching mode in dance teaching in colleges and universities.
