Abstract: The 19th National Congress of the Communist Party of China (CPC) put forward that only by giving priority to the development of education can we achieve a powerful country in education, accelerate the pace of education modernization, and realize the connotative development of higher education. Therefore, it is an important way to realize connotative development and enhance sustainable core competitiveness of higher vocational colleges to construct a professional group with prominent advantages, integration and complementation of resource advantages, and reasonable professional structure within the group. The basic construction ideas and methods of e-commerce professional group should be based on the docking analysis of modern trade circulation industry chain and e-commerce professional group, so as to optimize the structure of professional group and enhance the ability of serving regional economy.
