Abstract: “Online and offline” hybrid teaching method is a teaching method combining “online” video teaching with “offline” practice teaching. This paper mainly expounds the course Handicraft Small Piece Design: how to apply “online and offline” hybrid teaching method for first-class course construction. First of all, through the “online” theoretical link of knowledge and expanded material learning, so that students understand the basic theory of jade product mosaic design and development, industry development trend, master the jade product mosaic process and design methods, and further acquire the ability to develop jade product mosaic design and creation; Secondly, through the “offline” practice of this course, students' practical ability and project organization and development ability will be further improved, and their awareness of innovation and entrepreneurship as well as the great country craftsman spirit of innovation and excellence will be cultivated.
