Curriculum Design based on Student Needs Assessment——A Case Study of Teachers' Language in Lijiang Teachers' College

Abstract: Needs assessment is the starting point of a course teaching design. As a compulsory course for all teachers' majors, teacher's language plays an important role in supporting the achievement of talent cultivation goals, improving students' ability to use language and characters, and helping students' employability. Based on the full assessment of students' needs, this paper comprehensively designs the course of teacher language from the three aspects of testing needs, communication needs and the improvement of oral Chinese in education and teaching, in order to achieve better teaching effects and help improve the quality of talent cultivation.
