Abstract: In recent years, the reform of innovation and entrepreneurship in colleges and universities is in full swing, and the level of innovation and entrepreneurship is directly related to the future growth of students. From the perspective of student management workers, this paper discusses the important role of counselors in improving students' innovation and entrepreneurship ability, and proposes innovative paths and methods in the cultivation of innovation and entrepreneurship ability. This paper first analyzes the current situation of college students' innovation and entrepreneurship training, points out that most colleges and universities ignore the important role of counselors in the innovation and entrepreneurship training, and then puts forward the innovative paths and means of counselors in the innovation and entrepreneurship training.
