Abstract: Taking the opportunity of the National “Double Ten Thousand Plan” and Engineering Education Professional Certification, the requirement for strengthening the cultivation of first-class undergraduate applied talents in biopharmaceutical majors in local universities are proposed. This is an important strategy for comprehensively deepening education and teaching reform and supply-side structural reform in the new times. Taking the example of the biopharmaceutical major of Liaocheng University, the strategy of establishing a first-class undergraduate application-oriented talent training system for biopharmaceutical majors of local universities will be discussed from the aspects of optimizing the training plan for applied talents, strengthening the construction of faculty, strengthening the reform of practical teaching and deepening the reform of teaching management. In order to realize the close docking of application-oriented talent training and the optimization and upgrading of the biopharmaceutical industry.
