Abstract: The reform of innovation and entrepreneurship education curriculum model in colleges and universities is an inevitable trend and requirement of the times, and it is a key factor that determines the development of college students' future innovation and entrepreneurship capabilities. Innovation and entrepreneurship courses, as an important course for the training of talents in applied colleges and universities, trains students' innovative and entrepreneurial thinking. This research conducted a survey of 13 applied universities in Sichuan Province, Chongqing City, Yunnan Province, Guizhou Province and other four provinces and cities, analyzed the current status of innovation and entrepreneurship courses in applied universities, pointed out the problems in the innovation and entrepreneurship courses in applied universities, and explored application-oriented universities. The innovation and entrepreneurship curriculum model reform of colleges and universities, sharing the practical experience of the curriculum model reform, provides theoretical and practical foundations for the innovation and entrepreneurship education of the same type of colleges and universities.
