Exploration of Case Teaching Mode of Material Specialty Course based on Practice and Innovation Ability Cultivation

Abstract: Based on the requirements of students' practice and innovation ability cultivation, combined with the course content of material surface technology and major feature, relevant enterprise projects and scientific research projects are developed into teaching cases to form a representative teaching case library. According to the characteristics and objectives of this course, the design of teaching cases, the method and thinking of implementing case teaching are discussed. The application of case teaching method in major course teaching can effectively stimulate students' interest and initiative in learning, deepen their understanding and mastery of the basic principles of surface engineering technologies, and improve the students' ability to analyze and solve problems.
