Research on the Construction of Public Optional Courses in Teaching and Research Universities under the Background of Industry-Teaching Integration

Abstract: Teaching and research university’s mission is to cultivate senior technical application-oriented talents and innovative talents with research potential and composite knowledge. Teaching and research universities are duty-bound to deepen the integration of industry and education and promote the organic connection of education chain, talent chain, industry chain and innovation chain. As a necessary carrier to achieve the goal of talents training in teaching and research universities, general elective courses are an important way to construct theoretical education and practical education system under the background of industry-education integration. However, there are a series of subjective bias and objective deficiency in general optional courses, and the solution of these problems requires both theoretical discussion and the connection, communication, cooperation and innovation between teaching and research universities at all levels and relevant industries.
