Abstract: In the period of deepening reform of higher education, the OBE concept of engineering education certification has been generally recognized. Applied technology-based undergraduate colleges should strengthen the management of students' practice teaching in order to cultivate students' ability to solve complex engineering problems. Facing the current problems in off-campus internship, this article takes the environmental engineering major of Henan University of Engineering as an example, through the problem analysis, the reform measures and methods of the off-campus internship model are put forward in order to provide a certain amount of practical teaching for environmental engineering in similar colleges and universities.
