Abstract: The cultivation of innovative consciousness is of great significance to the shaping of innovative personality of freshmen. "How to innovate", "what and how to use professional knowledge" and "how to improve practical ability" are common puzzles for junior college students. Therefore, it is necessary to provide students with high-quality learning experience and effectively improve their innovation ability. This paper focuses on the cultivation of innovative consciousness. Through gradient and hierarchical innovative courses and innovative practice, this paper cultivates the innovative consciousness and temper the innovative will of junior engineering students, and tries to create a meaningful learning experience and promote the lifelong development of students.
