Abstract: The construction of characteristic courses based on "integration of specialty and innovation" can promote the organic integration of professional knowledge teaching and the "entrepreneurship and innovation education" in colleges and universities. It is an important way for colleges and universities to cultivate ability-oriented talents. Taking the course construction of real estate development management as an example, this paper analyzes the importance, the basic guarantee, the course objectives and the implementation steps of the construction of "integration of expertise and innovation" in colleges and universities, in order to provide the experience and the reference for the construction of characteristic courses of similar majors and the cultivation of ability oriented talents in local colleges and universities.
