Abstract: Based on competition of art design specialty in Chinese colleges and universities development situation based on investigation and study, deeply analyzes the artistic design specialized relationship between competition and the development of local economy and culture, by way of analogy in the college discipline competition activity were investigated, analyzed the university awards, teaching methods, explore the training mode to adapt to the development of the discipline, through to the professional art design competition in China contest area, competition and competition level in colleges and universities study, in order to the development of the artistic design specialized subject construction in China bring certain inspiration and thinking.
