The Teaching Discussion of PKPM Software from Learning to Application

Abstract: PKPM is a major compulsory course offered by university for structural design of civil engineering. According to survey methods such as telephone calls, questionnaires, face-to-face interviews, etc. We understand students' conundrum in the process of job selection and employment. Combining with the current prevalence of universities and the introspection in software learning and application in the course of teaching, we should deepen software application in conjunction with engineering education accreditation, exploit cross-professional collaborative design of the same project in addition to implementing dual tutorial and professional training for teachers. It is useful for improving teaching effectiveness and enhancing students’ employability. In the meantime, it also provides reference suggestions for the teaching reform of PKPM software.
