On the Classroom Evaluation of Primary School Chinese Teachers from the Perspective of Language Adaptation Theory

Abstract: Classroom evaluation is a common speech act in primary school Chinese classroom activities. It refers to the impromptu comments made by teachers on the learning activities displayed by students in the classroom from the aspects of learning status, cognitive state, learning effect and so on, which has the language function of diagnosis of learning situation, emotional motivation, induced transfer and aesthetic demonstration. From the perspective of language adaptation theory, primary school Chinese teachers should adapt to the dynamic context elements of primary school Chinese teaching, use classroom evaluation with a definite aim, improve the efficiency of classroom evaluation, and effectively realize the pragmatic function of classroom evaluation.
