Research on "Double Subject" Teaching Reform of Ideological and Political Course in Universities in the New Era

Abstract: The specific requirements of "Eight Unifications" put forward by General Secretary Xi Jinping at the symposium on ideological and political course in universities have made clear instructions for the reform of ideological and political theory teaching in universities. Among them, the principle of "unity of dominance and subjectivity" is the key to adhere to the specific requirements of "Eight Unifications", and is also the inevitable follow to promote the ideological and political course teaching reform in colleges and universities. In the course of teaching, it is the prerequisite for the quality of ideological and political courses to insist on the dominant position of teachers. However, the current ideological and political course teaching in colleges and universities is still facing the imbalance between the main function of teachers and students. It is an inevitable problem to speed up the teaching reform and realize the two-way interaction and organic combination between teachers and students to run the ideological and political courses in universities well in the new era.
