Abstract: As one of the talent training bases in China, the main task of higher vocational colleges is to provide excellent talents with professional skills for the country. In the process of personnel training in higher vocational colleges, we should pay special attention to strengthen the ideological guidance of students and establish a perfect ideological and political teaching system. We should take moral education as the fundamental task and purpose, pay attention to the reform of ideological and political education, change the original ideological and political curriculum into curriculum ideological and political education, expand the coverage of ideological and political education, and strengthen the ideological and political education in Higher Vocational Colleges from a new perspective. We should strengthen the construction of personnel training and improve the comprehensive education system. This paper analyzes the value connotation of ideological and political construction, finds out the limitations of the original ideological and political course, explores the new mode of talent cultivation suitable for higher vocational colleges, provides new ideas for the ideological and political teaching reform, and helps higher vocational colleges participate in the ideological and political teaching of collaborative education.
