Study on the Cultivation of Students' Autonomous Learning Ability under the Online Teaching Mode in Colleges and Universities

Abstract: With the rapid development of artificial intelligence and big data, online teaching becomes possible. In response to the Ministry of education's call for "no classes and no school suspension", colleges and universities across the country have organized teachers and students to make full use of online network resources and education platform to carry out online teaching. It is particularly important to cultivate students' autonomous learning ability and stimulate their enthusiasm and initiative. On the basis of defining the connotation of autonomous learning ability, describing the relationship between the cultivation of autonomous learning ability and learning achievement, and discussing the acquisition of autonomous learning ability, the paper starts from the characteristics of online teaching and various methods such as PBL, TBL, network resources and formative evaluation to cultivate students' autonomous learning ability.
