“Advanced English” Curriculum Design based on “Gold Course” Standard and Cross-cultural Perspective

Abstract: Under the background of the new era, cross-cultural ability has become an important requirement for colleges and universities to cultivate high-quality innovative talents. Taking advanced English as an example, based on the "golden course" standard, this paper constructs the goal of knowledge, skills and literacy. This paper analyzes the realization of cross-cultural perspective in the curriculum system of English majors, and pays attention to the development of students' cross-cultural ability. The curriculum design of teaching objectives, teaching activities, teaching strategies, evaluation and feedback provides new ideas for the adjustment of curriculum system and teaching reform.
