Exploring the Content of "Double Innovation" Education System Construction of Higher Vocational Colleges in the New Normal by Tracing Its Concept

Abstract: Innovation and entrepreneurship (hereinafter referred to as "double innovation") education originated in the United States, and has also experienced a development from meritocracy to popularization. The core idea of double innovation education is to stimulate students' entrepreneurial awareness, improve students' sense of social responsibility, and cultivate students' ability to adapt to changes and explore the unknown. Its essence is to "educate people." This thesis discusses the origin, development, and connotation of "double innovation" education, discusses the content of the system construction of "double innovation" education, and points out that the basic point of "double innovation" education in higher vocational colleges under the new normal is mass education. "Double innovation" education is an extension of traditional education. The goals of the two are the same. Only deep integration can improve each other. The "double innovation" education in higher vocational colleges should start with the construction of the curriculum system, organization and management, and ecological environment construction.
