The Use and Effectiveness Evaluation of BOPPPS and Flipped Classroom Teaching Model in Folklore

Abstract: With the deep integration of information technology and education curriculum in the era of mobile Internet, the flipped classroom becomes has become an important direction of teaching reform in China's colleges and universities. Meanwhile, in order to respond to the requirements of the construction of new liberal arts and the cultivation of talents to serve the society, the teaching reform of folklore is carried out and the teaching mode of combining BOPPPS and flipped classroom is proposed. In order to fully evaluate the effect of this teaching model, the authors divided the subjects of the lectures into experimental group and control group, and used the combination of BOPPPS and flipped classroom and traditional teaching methods to conduct the lectures respectively, and compared the final exam and questionnaire survey at the end of the course. The results showed that the combination of BOPPPS and flipped classrooms can effectively increase students' independent learning and cultural innovation practice ability and improve the quality of folklore teaching, and the teaching effect is better than the traditional teaching method, which is worthy of further promotion.
