Research and Practice of Online and Offline Mixed Teaching Reform for “Fundamentals of Materials Science” in Functional Materials Major

Abstract: Based on the characteristics of the students majoring in functional materials at Dalian Minzu University, this article summarizes the problems and shortcomings in the teaching process of the "Fundamentals of Materials Science" course, and proposes some teaching measures and practices for reforming and deepening this course. The purpose is to simplify, popularize and make interesting the boring and complex knowledge points in the course of "Fundamentals of Materials Science". Establishing an online and offline hybrid teaching mode combining Chinese university MOOC, rain classroom, traditional blackboard and PPT is in order to stimulate students' interest in the course of "Fundamentals of Materials Science", and provide guidance for training the talents of composite application in various functional materials and related fields.
