Abstract: Since its implementation in 2007, the Students' Innovation and Entrepreneurship Program, as a key construction project of "Higher Education Undergraduate Teaching Quality and Teaching Reform Project ", has made great achievements in promoting the teaching reform of innovation and entrepreneurship education in colleges and universities, strengthening students' innovation and entrepreneurship practice, and cultivating high-level innovation and entrepreneurship talents to meet the needs of national construction. At present, there are many challenges in the development, such as topic selection, supervisor pool and platform construction. At the level of the Ministry of Education, provincial education administrative units and universities, various measures have been taken into practice, such as setting up innovation and entrepreneurship courses, introducing policies and building platforms. It will be the development trend to embed Students' Innovation and Entrepreneurship Program with teaching activities and education programs, build multi-level communication platform by using new media, organize activities, and develop information management platform.
