Abstract: Based on the in-depth investigation of private colleges and universities in China, especially in Henan Province, this paper analyzes the current situation and shortcomings of innovation and entrepreneurship education of new engineering majors in private colleges and universities. Based on the new development concept of student-oriented, internal and external integration, industry university research collaborative innovation, combined with relevant data, using path analysis, factor analysis and other methods, this paper focuses on the main problems and key influencing factors existing in the innovation and entrepreneurship practice education mode of new engineering majors in private colleges and Universities. On this basis, the paper sorts out and summarizes the new mode and new path of innovation and entrepreneurship education of new engineering majors in line with its school running orientation and characteristics.
