Abstract: College students are the backbone of China's socialist modernization construction. Professional talents with good ideological and political awareness and noble moral quality are needed for China's social development. However, as far as the current situation is concerned, there are still many problems in the practical teaching of ideological and political course in colleges and universities, which seriously affect the effect of ideological and political teaching in colleges and universities, at the same time, it can not play the educational purpose of ideological and political education. Therefore, colleges and universities in our country should innovate the practical teaching of ideological and political course in combination with the development characteristics of the times. Based on this, this paper mainly studies the innovation analysis of practical teaching of ideological and political course in colleges and universities in the new era, hoping to give some enlightenment to relevant personnel.
