Application of Research Progress News in Marine Science Teaching

Abstract: This paper introduces the teaching practice experience of the application of research progress news in the teaching of Marine science specialty. The selected news of scientific research progress is closely related to the professional knowledge taught in the professional courses and can reflect the latest research hot spots and frontier fields of the discipline. The application of these research progress news in the teaching of professional courses can promote the timely transformation of scientific research achievements into teaching resources and make the teaching content keep up with the forefront and hot spots of the research field. The teaching practice shows that the application of scientific research progress news in the teaching of Marine science specialty can achieve a good effect in the training of Marine science specialty talents. Research progress in the teaching of integrated into the news can help students to deepen the understanding of relevant professional knowledge, and be able to let students understand the disciplines of the latest research progress in time, widened the field of vision and thoughts, to enhance the interest in Marine science, significantly improve the student's professional English level, can better promote teaching by scientific research and talent training, the teaching concept of "scientific research of feedback teaching".
