Teaching Analysis of Graphic Creativity Course Using SCAMPER Technique in Packaging Design Specialty

Abstract: Packaging design is a comprehensive discipline, mainly for the protection of goods in the circulation process, and promote the sale of goods, which mainly includes packaging design, packaging structure design and packaging decoration design. Graphic creativity course is a basic course for students majoring in packaging design. In order to better combine graphic creativity course with professional courses and lay a good foundation for thinking and creativity ability of later professional courses, it is necessary to study the teaching methods of graphic creativity course of packaging design major. Referring to domestic and foreign literature and combining with the characteristics of Scamper technique, the teaching program of graphic creative teaching course was designed, and then the results of students' works were summarized and analyzed summatively. Students break the habit of long-term dependent thinking, encourage students to confidently explain their creative thinking process, and achieve an orderly and reasonable creative process. Only when the knowledge obtained from the creative process is combined with the current things, can new and meaningful works appear.
