Abstract: In the process of new liberal arts construction in Fujian local colleges and universities, there are some common problems of other colleges and universities, such as the difficulty of talent team construction, the unclear ownership of disciplines and majors. There are still some problems, such as the concept of "liberal arts view" has not been fully established, the degree of interdisciplinary integration between disciplines is not deep, and the exploration of localization of specialty construction is not enough. In view of these problems, the construction of new liberal arts in Fujian local colleges and universities should further strengthen the media publicity and guidance, deeply integrate disciplines and majors, explore the mode to adapt to the construction and development of new liberal arts in local colleges and universities, and take the road of localization.
