Abstract: The innovation and entrepreneurship education for college students is an important measure to deepen the reform of innovation and entrepreneurship education in colleges and universities and to implement the innovation-driven development strategy of the country. However, for domestic colleges and universities, although their enthusiasm for innovation and entrepreneurship education is full and far-reaching, in view of the late start of the research, practice, and systematic development of the term innovation and entrepreneurship in the educational circles, innovation and entrepreneurship education is affected by factors such as the asynchrony between theory and practice and weak practical initiative, which has caused many problems. Therefore, to improve the theoretical system of innovation and entrepreneurship education practice in colleges and universities, and to create an innovation and entrepreneurship education system that suits the growth and development of college students is the primary task that needs to be solved and dealt with urgently. The article analyzes the necessity and current situation of entrepreneurship education in colleges and universities, so as to point out the problems in the innovation model of colleges and universities and propose corresponding strategies.
