Abstract: Thesis is a comprehensive assessment of students' knowledge and ability, a training of students' basic skills in scientific research, and an important index to measure a student's comprehensive ability. In recent years, with the transformation of a large number of application-oriented universities and the implementation of the national "innovation and entrepreneurship" educational program,it has provided a new way of thinking for the teaching reform of the training model of thesis. According to the investigation and discussion of the problems existing in thesis and the students' employment intention, the classification management of the thesis, the"innovation and entrepreneurship" educational program, participation in competition (instead of traditional teaching） and other different teaching forms meet the diverse needs of students and improve the final student's thesis quality, entrepreneurial ability, employment rate and employer' satisfaction.
